Our Process.

  • Assessments and Reports

We provide tailored assessments to support Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA), Interim Behaviour Support Plans (IBSP), Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans (CBSP), and other recommendations.

Our flexible approach includes in-person consultations, telehealth, and caregiver or stakeholder questionnaires. Clinicians select tools based on individual behavioural profiles, ensuring high-quality, personalised assessments.

To adopt a data-driven approach, we encourage care teams to collect real-time behavioural data using incident reports, QR-enabled sheets, or tracking tools. This analysis helps uncover patterns, understand behaviour functions, and develop effective, targeted interventions.

  • Sessions

Our sessions are designed to be flexible and highly individualised, evolving with the person’s changing needs and supporting a range of goals. These include developing positive behaviours to replace challenging ones, building daily living skills like cooking and hygiene, enhancing social confidence, improving functional communication, and preparing for community engagement. We also focus on emotional regulation techniques to manage stress and emotions effectively.

Sessions can take place in-person at our New Lambton hub, the individual’s home, or in the community, as well as remotely via telehealth. For those in educational environments, we provide support within familiar settings to encourage skill development. Practising these skills outside sessions is vital to achieving mastery and long-term success.

  • Training

Our training is designed to empower care teams, parents, and stakeholders with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively support individuals. Delivered in person or via telehealth, each session is tailored to align with the individual’s specific goals and needs.

We focus on equipping caregivers with strategies from Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs), helping them understand the underlying reasons behind behaviours, and building their confidence in managing challenges. Alongside this, we provide guidance on self-regulation and self-care to enhance co-regulation with the individual.

Training can also address specific areas such as toilet training, developing consistent sleep routines, improving social interactions, managing transitions, and fostering functional communication to reduce challenging behaviours.

By building practical, sustainable skills, our training supports caregivers in creating a strong foundation for person-centred, long-term success.
